Erin Dodd

Diploma Remedial Massage

Diploma Specialised Bowen Therapy

Level 2 Sports Trainer

‘The problem presented is not always the problem’ is one of the few phrases Erin swears by.“I often have people come to see me with many complaints where the site of their pain is not actually the cause. For example, headaches can stem from tight neck and upper back muscles, but tight neck and upper back muscles can stem from tight chest muscles!”Getting to the root cause of any complaint, using her knowledge of anatomy, trigger point referral patterns, muscle firing patterns and body balance is how Erin gets results for her clients.

Erin has a Diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy and a Diploma in Specialised Bowen Therapy

“I also believe that emotional state plays a big role in the physical wellbeing of the body, which is one of the reasons I became a Bowen Therapist. As well as the physical benefits of Bowen,

I truly believe that this therapy helps alleviate stress and anxiety and help the whole body and mind to heal together.” Bowen is also a much gentler therapy for those who may not like the pressure of massage.

About Erin

Erin and her tribe have lived in Drysdale for over a decade attending and being involved in local kindergartens, school and sporting clubs. Erin has been an enthusiastic parent, assistant coach, team manager, players and trainer of the Drysdale Hawks Football Club and Bellarine Storm Basketball Association.

Doing Good By Doing Good…

She has taken part in an 800 km bike ride from Bangkok to Khao Lak, in 2018 and a 500km Ride through central west NSW in 2021 raising over $15,000 for at risk and orphaned Thai Children. She has also been part of 5 Renovation task Force teams that help renovate the orphanages run by Hands Across The Water in Thailand.

Drysdale Remedial also proudly sponsors one of the Hands Across the Water children, a 15 year old boy named Guitar living in their Home in Khao Lak. This sponsorship provides a home, food and education for Guitar.

“Everything I do, be it massage, volunteering or supporting charity is my way of trying to make the world a slightly better place. My mission in life is to enable the full potential of every individual I can. Nothing makes me happier than to see the change I can have on my clients in helping them to live an invigorated and fulfilled life."
